The Flaming Pig Returns: Local Filipino Restaurant Set to Reopen Under New Management

The Flaming Pig, a well-known Filipino restaurant in the central Phoenix area, is set to reopen under new management on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 promising great food and a more festive atmosphere. In a private prelaunch event, a select group of invitees from the Filipino community gathered to sample the anticipated menu. Before the tasting commenced, the new establishment was Christened in a Blessing Ceremony led by Father Jess, a tradition embodying hope and good fortune in the Filipino community. This gesture symbolizes a harmonious start for the restaurant’s new chapter.

All guests were provided self-service access to a delightful variety of traditional Filipino dishes, marking a notable change with the introduction of their All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, a unique venture among Filipino restaurants in the Valley area. Although the buffet is bound to entice many, an a la carte menu will be available to those with a lighter appetite. Additional options will also include Combo Meals along with a variety of Chef’s and House Specials.

Feedback from the attendees has been overwhelmingly positive and the new owners, buoyed by the warm reception, are optimistic about the new venture’s future success.

The newly owned Filipino restaurant and buffet is located on the northwest corner of N. 15th Avenue and W. Camelback Road. Review their Filipino Directory business listing for more details about their location and hours.
