Paring Bukidnon Concert Brings Music and Mission to Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (October 18, 2025) – The Paring Bukidnon Concert held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church gathered parishioners and supporters for an inspiring evening of music, faith, and community. Highlights from the Paring Bukidnon Concert:
The group, composed of priests from the Diocese of Malaybalay in Bukidnon, Philippines, is known internationally as the Singing Priests of Bukidnon. Their U.S. concert series has been dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes, and this year’s Phoenix stop focused on the construction of a retreat and respite home for retired clergy in their diocese.
The performing priests included Most Rev. Noel P. Pedregosa, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Malaybalay; Fr. Rodolfo Isada; Fr. Erlic Jorquia; Fr. Jo An Lamasan; Fr. Victoriano Salem; Fr. John Mark Colipano; Fr. Arniel Villamero; and Rev. Fr. Conrado Casas Jr.
A respite home for priests serves as a peaceful and supportive place where senior clergy can live comfortably while remaining connected to their vocation. The project aims to ensure these men who have served their communities for decades can retire with dignity and fellowship.
The concert featured moving performances, traditional and contemporary songs, and messages of hope that resonated with the audience. Many described the evening as uplifting and deeply meaningful, combining faith and culture through music.
Proceeds from the concert will support the Diocese of Malaybalay’s Retreat House project in Bukidnon.
