CFO Gears Up for Upcoming PIDC Event

The Council of Filipino Organizations of Arizona (CFO) is “All In” and hard at work with plans for this year’s Philippine Independence Day Celebration which will take place on June 11th, 2022 on the ASU West campus. Enthusiasm for what has become Arizona’s largest and oldest Filipino community is very high and the CFO is responding with its efforts to make the celebration even bigger and better than before.

Committee Updates: Business Expo/vendor spaces are sold out and the Mrs. Philippines Arizona will feature a total of ten candidates vying for the title. And for the first time, the 2022 celebration includes an onsite Job Fair where job seekers will have an opportunity to speak with potential employers.

The current CFO Chair, Jennifer Del Mar-Lewis, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work and dedication the group of Fil-Am Community Leaders has put into organizing this event. She also thanked the owners of Halo-Halo Kitchen, Edwin & Owie Bulos, for hosting their meeting.
